THE STAFF:
\nSTAFF GOOD: The staff is excellent!! Very, very personable and fun and helpful, often going out of their way to make us happy. We have never been treated so much as members. We had managers and staff from most areas come to us daily asking if we needed anything, they would offer to set up restaurant reservations, brought us double umbrellas by the pool every day, bent the rules a little to let me have my salad by the pool that I wanted, ordered pizza for us, kept us involved in the activities and more.
\nA HUGE thank you to the following staff for making our stay amazing: Brayan and Valeria (short one lol) in Entertainment team was always fun and always smiling and made the activities a lot of fun, Cristo (tennis pro) who we played with almost every day was a joy to be around and we had a great time with him, Diana Navarro (Concierge in preferred club) was very helpful when we had any issues or needs, Helios and Carlos (UVC member services) were very, very helpful in getting us day passes to Secrets and coordinating the member boat tour), Magdiel (pool manager) was absolutely AMAZING! Every day, he got us TWO umbrellas as I had to be covered due to cancer issues and he constantly checked on us and got waiters to help us too, Hector (restaurant manager) went out of his way to let me have my food by the pool and to set up reservations for us at Portofino; Rosario and Korey in Coco Caf\u00e9 are so very pleasant every single day and night, always smiling, always nice and friendly. Luis (pool waiter) ordered pizza for us and was so very polite BUT a little slow in responding. Mariela at the breakfast buffet is amazing! She is ALWAYS smiling and always nice. Each one of them helped us to feel like royalty, continually met our needs and went out of their way to help us!!<\/p>\n
As an Unlimited Vacation Club member, I would go back there if the FOOD options improved and the BUFFET was offered for lunch and dinner\/ There are MANY pluses to the resort but the food issues would keep us away. Otherwise, it is beautiful, clean, gorgeous views of the ocean, wonderful staff, our room was quite nice and we loved the tennis court and most of the activities. All in all, if you like Seafood and don’t travel with picky kids, then it is a gorgeous property to go to.<\/p>\n
Also, it is only about 20-25 minutes to the airport and you can get a cab into Cabo San Lucas or San Jose for only $30 or so. And both are within 20 minutes. If you are there on a Thursday, go into San Jose and enjoy the ART WALK. It is way more than art. They have bands playing, 6 or 7 blocks square full of shops and restaurants and vendors and everything is lit up really neat event. And if you want to see Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo, it is close to the MARINA which has tons of places to eat, excursions, bars, and shops.
