We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Secrets in Puerto Los Cabos. Right on the ocean with perfect weather overseeing a beautiful golf course; we recommend the UVC Preferred JR Suites.<\/p>\n
The top restaurant is Portofinos with excellent Italian dinners. The gnocchis were a favorite as were the spaghetti carbonara and Osso bucco. See server Salvatore for an excellent experience. But all restaurants did an excellent job of preparing and serving.<\/p>\n
We took massages for two days and the spa experience was 5 star. From dry sauna, to wet sauna with menthol, to soothing waterfall pool, to hot jacuzzi, and finally the cold plunge. It\u2019s all there.<\/p>\n
Notable people to look up are Isabella; the sweetest lady you can meet. She does everything at the resort which included arranging a special birthday dessert (banana flamb\u00e9) for me at the Oceanic restaurant on our last day. Diego, our resort ambassador, is also outstanding and ensured I had a special birthday celebration waiting for me in our room. At the UVC members pool is Cesar and Carlos; they take care of everything for you. Bartender Francisco is the evening server in the UVC members lounge. He remembers you and your drinks after the first meeting. Same with Salvador in the morning. We ordered a cafe on the first morning and he had it ready to serve to us from that day on.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t typically write up reviews but because of the experience and the people, I felt compelled to recognize and acknowledge this resort and the people.
